METICULOUS worked to develop Guidelines to further establish and maintain Abu Dhabi’s Architectural Identity. The precedent was to ensure that future development of villas, buildings, and towers more responsively reflected the distinct architecture and environmental conditions indigenous to Abu Dhabi.
The Guidelines focused on three primary goals: 1 - Enhance the architectural image of the region, 2 - Enforce architectural coherence, and 3 - Capture the unique architectural identities of the United Arab Emirates. Through well-developed protocols, Abu Dhabi's design is responsive to culture, heritage and its traditions.
