The new library contains a public meeting room, adult/children’s stacks, a children’s theatre/reading area, ample staff work area, and generous soft seating areas. Both the interior and exterior attempt to convey to the public and to the patrons, a sense that the structure is civic in scale, importance, and looks forward to the future of the community and the library’s purpose.
