This is an impactful Adaptive Re-Use of a chronically vacant property located along a major gateway of the International Marketplace. The development is composed of 2 standalone 4-story buildings with designated amenities, a leasing office, and laundry facilities. The buildings contain a total of 130 units, Building 1 has 52 market-rate 1-bedroom/1-bath units and Building 2 has 78 total affordable units, 68 which are 1-bedroom/1-bath units and 10 studio units.
The fully accessible apartments all have roll-in showers and grab bars at the toilets and showers. The kitchens have accessible sinks and workspaces, and all appliances meet ADA requirements.
Meticulous Design + Architecture led the full design process and served as the Architect of Record for the development.
